1. CALL TO ORDER
The Mayor called the meeting to order at 2:00 p.m.
2. PLANNING
ZONING BY-LAW C500-2011 – OUTSTANDING MATTERS
The planner and staff reviewed with Council the few outstanding matters with the Zoning By-law.
WALLI/ADAMS – REQUEST FOR TRANSFER OF ROAD ALLOWANCE
Council agreed with staff’s recommendation to transfer the portion of road allowance abutting the Walli/Adams property for Parts 3 & 4 of PSR-1005 and the daylight.
DEAN PAUSER – REQUEST FOR PERMISSION TO CROSS MUNICIPAL ROAD ALLOWANCE
Council agreed to consider the request, subject to entering into an agreement with the Township and advised Mr. Pauser to proceed with his application.
GARY BAUER/DAN LACOCK – REQUEST FOR COUNCIL TO CONSIDER SALE OF ROAD ALLOWANCE
Although Council does not see any present need for the use of the road allowance, the Township’s policy is to retain road allowances leading to water, therefore the request was denied.
ALVES BOATHOUSES – DISCUSSION
Council advised staff to proceed with the process on the boathouses and docks to be vacated that are no longer required due to the owners gaining road access.
3. PUBLIC WORKS:
ATV’S ON ROADWAYS
Joe Ryman spoke to Council on his report. Council requested that staff bring forward a by-law for the December 12th Council meeting.
CARLING TOWNSHIP SIGNS – ON THE LEVEL
Matter was deferred to December Committee meeting.
4. ADMINISTRATION/HR
MICHAEL JONES – 2010 FINANCIAL STATEMENTS
Matter was deferred to December Committee meeting.
